How does it work?
We have our Hot Chemical Viscosity (HCV) Riser Cleaning method, designed to tackle stubborn grease build-up efficiently. This process begins by cordoning off the area, heating, and diluting a potent chemical solution that breaks down even the most resilient grease deposits.
When safe roof access is unavailable, we employ a compactable lift system to securely reach the riser discharge point. The chemical solution is then carefully pumped down the riser, capturing the grease and chemical mixture at the bottom. This collected residue is safely stored and later removed off-site.
What do we do?
Our HCV Riser Cleaning procedure offers a cost-effective alternative to the expensive requirements of scaffolding or abseiling. Its portability, convenience, and guarantee of effective grease removal have made it a preferred choice among national restaurant and pub chains, shopping centres, and commercial buildings throughout the country.
We inspect, test, clean and provide the necessary documentation to ensure that records are always kept fully up to date and compliance is achieved.
When?
The introduction of new Grease Extract Guidance in 2019 (BESA’s TR19) requires premises to have their entire ventilation system cleaned every 3-12 months.
